- natascha van cleave Added March 09, 2018★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I have tried vivere three times. The staff are fast, friendly and accommodating. The owner is a warm and welcoming man. You feel like you're going to a friends house.
Unfortunately this friend isn't a great cook.
The first visit my dessert was topped with a berry compote but salt was accidentally used instead of sugar.
Because of the fabulous service I came back with my husband for a dinner. My seafood pasta was over cooked and bland. My husband's pizza had far too much cheese so it was soggy with oil.
This morning it was the only place open in my way home from hospital. I ordered the eggs Benedict. The eggs were far too rare and I like mine in the very runny side. The hollandaise was watery and flavorless.
Another testament to the service, they have offered to refund me straight away for anything I didn't eat.
We love having an Italian place near home. We just wish they could simplify the menu and master a few classics
